What are Compression Socks?

Compression socks are designed with a gradient compression to enhance circulation and blood flow in lower leg muscles to boost performance and speed recovery during or after training, running or athletic activity.

Many people have participated in the marathon, and you may see many people wearing a special pair of socks on their legs. In fact, this kind of socks is called a compression stocking. Wearing compression socks (sports) during running, the entire calf muscles are wrapped by the cascade pressure of the socks, which will help the venous blood return to the heart more quickly, and also increase the blood flow rate of the calf veins. Nowadays, patients with varicose veins are younger. More and more office workers suggest that varicose veins are obtained at a young age, which makes them very painful. Indeed, varicose veins make our legs very sore, unable to sit for a long time and stand for a long time. We can use this running artifact, the compression socks can form a pressure gradient in our legs, so that the venous blood in our legs can be quickly transported back, thus reducing varicose veins or preventing it.

Function of Compression socks

Researchers at Newcastle University have found that compression socks do improve blood flow to the lower extremities and lower heart rate during high-intensity endurance exercise. Take a full marathon as an example. Each runner must run at least 30,000 steps to complete the journey. During the process, every ground impact on the ground will cause the muscles to vibrate, which is an important cause of muscle damage and muscle fatigue. The compression of the compression stockings reduces the shaking of the calf muscles throughout the running process, which can reduce the degree of muscle fatigue to a certain extent. This external wraparound pressure also reduces the wearer's sense of pain and can run even more smooth and natural.
